Dez Okafor shoots out of Brooklyn for the indie and Gen-Z brands that call him when they want something honest. He came up shooting lookbooks and product for small labels that could not afford a studio day, learning to make a folding table by a window do the work of a lighting truck. That constraint became his style: bright, clean, high-key, a single considered idea per frame, colour placed with intent and never for its own sake. He refuses the moody convention most product photographers default to, and shoots a phone the same way he shoots a sneaker. His frames read like a well-made brand's feed on its best day. At ioli he directs the recipes that stay warm, current, and easy.
